Today it is my pleasure to bring you my review of Christmas at the Cornish Confetti Agency by Daisy James as part of her fabulous blog tour!
We all know how much I love a book series, and the Cornish Confetti Agency is no exception! In this third instalment, we find ourselves back with Lexie in Cornwall, as she continues to cover the Cornish Confetti Agency for Marley who remains in America. Christmas has descended, and with it a beautiful Christmas-themed wedding for Phoebe and Sam. They require a week of activities for their guests, ending with a beautiful wedding. As we now know, trouble seems to follow Lexie wherever she goes, and once again she finds herself in the midst of a mystery! She needs to work hard alongside her beau, Theo, to find out who is causing trouble and make sure that nothing ruins this wedding!
The run up to Christmas is a busy one, with Lexie also returning to her roots and arranging a fashion show for her best friend Freya, to showcase her amazing bridal gowns. Everyone is relying on Lexie to pull off an amazing wedding and a stunning show – she’s going to need everyones help to pull it off!
It’s always a joy to return to Lexie’s world. I am amazed by how organised she is, but also about how passionate she is about her work. She clearly thrives on on the stress that often accompanies event planning, although she is also very aware of the fact that she needs her team around her to achieve and accomplish everything that she sets out to do. Even when drama reigns, she is able to calmly troubleshoot and solve everyones problems!
I loved revisiting Lexie, Theo, Freya and Jasper. They are all great characters who bring something different to the mix. I enjoy following their dynamic as a group, as well as their individual relationships with Lexie. I am also very pleased to note that this is not their last outing – we get to meet them all again in the next Cornish Confetti Agency outing – Tropical Skies at The Cornish Confetti Agency. I can’t wait to grab myself a copy!
I am more than happy to recommend Christmas at The Cornish Confetti Agency, but it seems a shame to just read this one. So I fully recommend that you grab yourself copies of The Cornish Confetti Agency and Summer at the Cornish Confetti Agency and read those as well!
Thank you to Daisy James and Rachel at Rachels Random Resources for asking me to be a part of this wonderful blog tour, and for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.
Daisy James loves writing stories with strong heroines and swift-flowing plotlines. She especially likes to create sunshine-filled settings in exotic locations – the Caribbean, Tuscany, Cornwall, Provence – so she can spend her time envisioning her characters enjoying the fabulous scenery and sampling the local food and drink.
When not scribbling away in her peppermint-and-green summerhouse (garden shed), she spends her time sifting flour and sprinkling sugar and edible glitter. She loves gossiping with friends over a glass of something fizzy or indulging in a spot of afternoon tea – china plates and teacups are a must.
